Hi, I'm Catherine Borchert, a.k.a. "Mz. B", a nickname my students gave me during my first year of teaching art. What a joy it was to get up every morning for thirty years and go to work in a career I loved.
Now I am retired, and blessed with free time to spend in my studio, and with my family, especially my grandchildren! I moved from beautiful Sonoma County, California to even more beautiful Willamette Valley, Oregon to be close to them.
Now that I am happily ensconced here, I would love to build community by offering classes and events in my studio space.

About Studio B
Over the years I’ve made art in a myriad of places: on the patio, front yard, garage, and many hours at the kitchen table. My life-long dream of having a free-standing studio of my own has finally come to fruition. Studio B comes complete with the essentials: water, HVAC, and storage space, but the other necessity is YOU!

My studio is my happy place, and soon, I hope yours too. My goal is to build community in this space, to make it a refuge, an inspiration, a cocoon, a place of laughter and creative exploration.
